The volunteer will support the improvement of marketing and communication materials (both paper and web-based) for Beaches Habitat for Humanity. The volunteer will take digital photographs of volunteers, future homeowners, staff and AmeriCorps members engaged in affiliate activities, future homeowners participating in the home application and purchase process and at special events (home dedications, fundraisers, etc.).
Volunteers must possess their own digital camera and have transportation.
LOCATION: Work on the scene at build sites, family homes or events. Edit and upload your photos from home. Meet at the office occasionally for planning and review.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capture the spirit and culture of Beaches Habitat for Humanity through photographs to be used in electronic and print media.
- Take photographs of staff, volunteers, future homeowners and supporters during their activities with Beaches Habitat.
- Edit photographs as appropriate and upload them to Beaches Habitat’s Dropbox.

Recognizing the importance of education in empowering people to build strength, stability, and independence, Beaches Habitat also offers educational programs to promote academic achievement and excellence among our homeowners and their families. Through financial support, volunteering, and adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower.
