We need event volunteers for the first National Adoption Weekend we have planned in 2020! Needs include; adoption counseling, pet transport, and crowd/table management. This event is on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM, at the PetSmart on Elmore Avenue in Davenport, IA. You can work one-day, or the whole weekend; one-hour, or all-day; you choose! In order to volunteer for this weekend, you will need to fill out a volunteer application and attend a volunteer orientation. Description
The purpose of the Humane Society is to provide humane care for all lost, abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted companion animals in Scott County and to adopt these animals into caring, responsible homes. In Scott County alone, we provide shelter and care to over 3000 lost, abandoned and unwanted animals each year.
