Above and Beyond is looking for LCSWs, either retired, in-between employers or with a flexible schedule who are interested in providing supervision to interns working towards their degrees in social work. Individuals must be able to commit to a weekly schedule, preferably a full work day. At minimum we are looking for an LCSW who can be on site for 4 hours.
We have the most amazing facility in the city as well as a Clinical Protocol that is beyond belief. Among its many diverse, evidence-based and informed groups, are featured: REBT, Rage Reduction, Transgenerational Trauma, Trauma, AA, SMART Recovery, Women (and Men) for Recovery, WRAP, Loneliness, Goals, Purpose and Meaning (Viktor Frankl), Learning to Love Yourself, Mindfullness Relapse Prevention, Yoga, Acupuncture, and many others. Our interns are at the heart of these groups and are key in making sure the treatment of our patients runs smoothly. It is pivotal that we support them with the best supervision in order to provide guidance throughout their internship
