Pet therapy/ Pet visit volunteers are loved by our patients. When a patient is in a facility it is their pets that they miss the most. I have witnessed patients who will not talk with others, but will carry a whole conversation with a pet.

Description
The word "Asana" is defined as a yoga position that is designed to help master the body and spirit and enhance the body's function.
The Asana Hospice team addresses the physical emotional,social and spiritual concerns that often arise when someone is facing a life-limiting issues. We focus on each individual patient, not the disease. Our holistic approach is centered on life and living, ensuring that patient and family receive the care comfort and attention they deserve.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team.
