Tackle Alzheimer's Together! San Francisco RivALZ is a one of a kind flag football league where two teams of women will compete to inspire fundraising, awareness and action in the fight against Alzheimer's disease! We are actively recruiting players and coaches to be a part of our 2020 season. No prior experience on the field is required - we hold practices and accept people of all skill levels. RivALZ is great if you are:
- Passionate about contributing to a great cause - all the money we raise goes to support the millions of families who are impacted by Alzheimer's through enhanced support programs, research for a cure and public policy initiatives.
- Interested in meeting new people - RivALZ is a great way to get connected to the San Francisco community and meet new people who are also passionate about helping others. You can also join our planning committee and take part as a leader in the league.
- Looking for a healthy activity - a great way to learn new skills, stay in shape and have a team of your peers supporting you along the way.

Our vision, A world without Alzheimer's disease.
Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These strategic initiatives also strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis. By partnering with organizations locally and nationally to advance diversity and inclusion, the Association can broaden its reach in all communities.
