Do you have personal or professional experience with ASL and want to share your interest for the language with seniors?

The City of Carlsbad is looking for a dynamic volunteer to teach seniors ASL for meeting and greeting, finger-spelling and numbers, signs about family and home, signs for daily activities and errands, signs for travel and recreation and signs for activities with friends.

The volunteer will teach class participants introduction and intermediate level ASL, and motivate participants to improve their ASL skills and communication through class interaction.

Schedule: Weekly, one hour session preferably on Wednesdays: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
