The VA Beach Polar Plunge(r) Festival kicks off Saturday with the Dash & Splash Challenge, a costume contest and parade down the boardwalk, the Plunge Marketplace featuring local artisans, frosty beverages, live music, free Wawa hot chocolate and coffee, and an icy dip into the frigid Atlantic Ocean with 3,000 of your closest friends. And we need volunteers like YOU to make it happen! Visit https://polarplunge.com/vabeach/ to see what the event is all about.
Shifts are available Thursday (6th), Friday (7th) and Saturday (8th).
- Dash & Splash
Volunteers needed for setup of our 4 Mile and 1 mile Dash & Splash races. Volunteers will help with pre-event set-up, logistics around the course, and help handout medals at the finish line on the beach. =
- Beach Operations
Help us setup the COOLEST event on the beach! This volunteer position requires manual labor on the beach in the sand, in all types of weather. Volunteers should be able to lift 25 lbs. Please dress appropriately for weather and duties. You will be assigned a specific task when you arrive.
-Registration
Volunteers are needed to help register our BRRRave Plungers. This is a customer service role - patience and kindness are necessary! Volunteers must be computer savvy and feel comfortable with data entry.
