New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
The Long Island Region of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has numerous options for volunteer work within our State Parks. Volunteers may chose to work at single events or on continuing projects. Volunteers can work at environmental education events, participate in stewardship projects or help to protect endangered species. Volunteers may also develop their own projects or structure their work into a more formal internship. The dates, times, hour commitments and even the location of the work is up to each individual volunteer.
Please contact the email provided to discuss your interests. Thank you!
