Provide compassion to hospice patients in the Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Greeley, Evans, or Longmont area.

As a Namaste Volunteer you will provide comfort by listening to music with patients, spraying soothing mists, and arm massages using fragrant lotions. We provide everything needed including the training.

As a Namaste Volunteer you'll make an impact in so many ways, help change lives, and brighten days!

Description

Hospice affirms life. Hospice exists to provide aupport and care for persons living with a serious illness so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice is specialized care that provides supportive care directed towards enhancing quality of life. Together with the patient and family, the interdisciplinary caregiving team focuses on the individual's physical symptoms as well as the emotional and spiritual concerns of the patient and family.

Understanding that it is a privilege to accompany patients and families on this unique journey, hospice strives to uphold the patient's personal dignity and to ever sustain hope.
