This volunteer opportunity takes place at The CareLink Clinic in Dallas, Ga which is a non-profit organization that provides primary medical care and other support services to adults who are uninsured and live in and around Paulding County. CareLink is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:30-12:00. There are 3 different roles for volunteers: front desk/office (checking in patients, setting up charts, financial assistance paperwork), nursing care (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, MAs - rooming patients, taking vital signs, assessing current symptoms, taking histories), and medical care providers (MDs, DOs, NPs - diagnosing and treating acute and chronic disease care, internal medicine and family care practice). NPs need to have clinical experience. We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you about our amazing clinic and how you can help support our community.
