During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
This is a weekly volunteer commitment every Tuesday at 10:45am until 12:30pm at House of Mercy in Manassas, VA. We are a Food Pantry that provides free cooking classes to our clients, but we are in need of a fluent Spanish-English Interpreter for the class because many of our clients only speak Spanish. It's a fun role and you will be working with great people! You will also be able to try what the instructor is cooking each day in class!

About Missionaries of Our Lady of Divine Mercy, operating as "The House of Mercy"
The Missionaries of Our Lady of Divine Mercy is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to
serving the poor through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. This includes not only the financially poor, but also the poor in spirit, the forgotten, the lonely, the sick and dying. Anyone with a "hole in their soul" is served through this outreach. We believe in the dignity of every human life and strive to bring the message of God's love and mercy to each person we serve. Our motto is "Mercy is a verb".
The House of Mercy, founded in 2005, performs charitable works throughout the northern Virginia area, targeting Manassas, Manassas Park, Gainesville, Haymarket and surrounding Prince William County area. While its primary mission is to feed the hungry, its members also perform service work with the elderly, the sick and dying, the homeless and others in need. New areas of service include life skills development in job search and networking, ESL and GED tutoring, reading programs, and financial literacy.
We'll work with your schedule.
