Girls on the Run 5k

Join us for our biggest volunteer event of the year! The Girls on the Run 5K is the culminating event of our spring season. On Saturday May 21st, over 2,000 people will gather to celebrate the accomplishments of our girls, their coaches, families, and friends in a fun, noncompetitive 5K! Volunteers are needed from (6:30AM-12:30AM). Roles include parking management, registration tent, happy hair station, and course marshal, plus many more.

Description

Girls on the Run is a 10-week after-school program serving girls in Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties, PA. We use the power of running to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
