IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! PLEASE NOTE: tomorrow's snow storm forecast has led us to POSTPONE our Sat, 1/18 service project to MONDAY, 1/20 - the actual Rev Martin Luther King, Jr holiday. WE ARE COLLECTING:
- bras for our partners at Free the Girls
- travel and hotel-sized toiletries for various projects
- leftover holiday candy for an Easter project
- denim jeans for SOLE HOPE

WE WILL BE WORKING ON:
- handmade fleece dog toys and blankets for rescues
- using fabric markers to decorate white pillow cases to encourage our US Troops
- painting wooden stars to encourage communities impacted by natural disasters or violence
- filling plastic Easter eggs with candy to bless individuals and families in Detroit for Easter
- using patterns and fabric scissors to prep denim from blue jeans which will be mailed to SOLE HOPE where shoes will be made for children in Africa
We will be encouraging, supporting, and helping the following through our various projects:
- dogs and cats in local no-kill animal rescues
- our deployed US Troops
- adults and children in Uganda in need of shoes
- individuals in impoverished areas of Detroit
- those impacted by natural disasters or violence
