You experienced many things that only your brothers and sisters in arms can relate to and now those brothers and sisters need you again. Hospice care can help address these needs and can be very meaningful to veterans. One of the most important services that hospice can provide is volunteer services which allow for valued companionship to these most deserving individuals. Some example of activities you may do with a Veteran Patient include assisting Veterans in reminiscing/telling life stories, taking part in pinning ceremonies or distributing certificates for Veterans Day and other recognition events.
