We are looking for an upbeat, online-savvy person to lead the marketing efforts for The Fitzpatrick Collaborative. Is this you?!

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all Fitzpatrick Collaborative marketing strategies, communications, and activities. Coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization to ensure we continue to build our brand and establish a solid online following.

Principle Accountabilities include:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing program that will enhance our image and position within the community, including activities and materials.
  • Create our desired image, voice, and position. Assure consistent communication of the same.
  • Responsible for our website, social media, email, and print/flyers.
  • Assist with defining the next evolution of our branding, such as letterhead, logo usage, brochures, etc.
  • Lead other projects, such as special event marketing and demographic research.
  • Provide your expertise to help us grow!

Specific areas of responsibility include:
  • Website: Manage website content, such as program descriptions, announcements, and online calendar. We use Wordpress, Avada, and WooCommerce.
  • Email Marketing: Develop visually-compelling emails to improve engagement, open rates, and click-through rates. Experience with MailChimp preferred.
  • Social Media: Manage our Facebook page. Respond to questions, comment, tag, share, etc. as needed to drive engagement and increase our audience.
  • Print Marketing: Create print materials, such as program brochures, school flyers, neighborhood signs, etc.
  • Public Relations: Work with the board to cultivate relationships, pitch stories to local media, and build a network of supporters.
We are a start-up non-profit. This will initially be a volunteer role with a seat on our Board of Directors with room to grow into a stipend or hourly role.

Description

Founded in 2018, our primary goal is to create a sense of community through a vibrant, multi-generational hub of activity at the former Peter Fitzpatrick School. We envision local residents being able to remain local for programs, while attracting people from surrounding communities, supporting our local businesses, and facilitating a greater sense of belonging. We will offer arts, education, and recreation programs for all ages, such as dance classes, music lessons, summer programs, before and after school enrichment, tutoring, and more.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Regular attendance at board meetings (approximately 1-2 hours, one evening per month) and other times as required to complete duties (self-directed).
  • We need someone with strong communication skills, computer literacy, demonstrated success managing digital marketing platforms, and who's fun to be around! Previous non-profit experience is desired but not required.
