If you enjoy reading to others, our hospice patients welcome you! Reading to a hospice patient is a precious opportunity to interact and provide something that many patients are no longer able to do - pick up a book, magazine, or newspaper and read it. Be their hands and their eyes and share with them. YOU are needed. Let 2024 be the year that YOU make a difference in the life of a hospice patient.

Please contact us to learn more. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

NOTE: Volunteers must live in the service area - Memphis, TN and/or Southaven, MS - as these are in-office and in-person opportunities. Thank you!

About Compassus Hospice Memphis, TN

919 Ferncliff Cove, Suite #6, Memphis, TN 38119, US

Mission Statement

OUR HIGHER PURPOSE Profoundly advancing the well-being and honoring the dignity of those we serve, helping make the world a better place - one family at a time. OUR VISION Compassus is leading the transformation of healthcare delivery: continuously and measurably improving the quality of person-centered, physician-driven, team-based care.

Compassus Hospice offers peace and comfort to patients and their families by reducing the stress, pain and other symptoms of a serious illness. Hospice is not just for the final days of life. it's about helping patients and their families live as well as they can when life expectancy is limited.

Volunteers are instrumental in supporting our hospice efforts in Memphis and the surrounding areas and also in Southaven and surrounding areas. As a Compassus Hospice volunteer, you have the loving opportunity to touch and enhance the lives of our patients and families.

Our volunteer opportunities are limitless and range from volunteering behind the scenes in the hospice office to volunteering in outreach or community events and by providing face-to-face non-clinical services to patients and families.
