Do you love learing about wildlife conservation and sharing that knowledge with others? Are you looking to meet members of your local community? Do you want to have fun while contributing towards a great cause? If you answered YES to any of those questions then the Lehigh Valley Zoo is the place for you!
The Lehigh Valley Zoo is located in Schnecksville, PA and is open 7 days a week from 10a-3p (Nov-Mar) and 10a-4p (Apr-Oct)! We offer long-term volunteer opportunities such as our Docent program, and also short-term options with our Crafts & Activities, Zoo Clean, and Special Events teams.

Mission Statement

To be a leader and model for wildlife conservation, education, and animal welfare while providing a friendly and fun place for citizens and guests of the Lehigh Valley.


Located in Schnecksville, PA within the scenic 1,100 acre Trexler Nature Preserve, Lehigh Valley Zoo is home to nearly 300 animals representing more than 125 species. The Zoo hosts more than 135,000 guests annually and offers hundreds of educational programs, camps, and family-friendly events! Open to the public year-round, the Zoo is operated by the Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, a private nonprofit organization.
