Thank you so much for your interest in our Avengers Youth! We conduct Mentoring Workshops the second Saturday of each month at the Skillman Branch Library in Detroit to teach the Youth of our community various life skills.
We'd love volunteers to lead/help with a workshop teaching our youth how to create a resume. Many will have never written one before so they will need direction regarding the purpose of the resume, what kind of information should be included, formatting, etc.... We'd also love for them to understand the necessity of the cover letter as well as a follow-up thank you letter. Finally, tips for being persistent and setting themselves apart from the rest.

Avengers Youth Mentoring Organization in Houston, TX is a non-profit organization that provides mentoring and support services to young people in the community. We aim to help youth develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.
We offer a range of programs and services, including one-on-one mentoring, group mentoring, tutoring, leadership development, college readiness, and career exploration. We also provide a variety of recreational and enrichment activities, such as sports teams, art programs, and field trips.
We are committed to helping young people overcome challenges and build resilience. Our staff and volunteers work closely with youth to provide guidance and support, and to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

- We're looking for a charismatic individual to mentor our Avengers Youth. Well have about 40-50 Youth in attendence.
