WGIRLS INC has built a diverse national network of accomplished professional women who share a desire to strengthen their communities via the support and empowerment of women and children. Through volunteerism and fundraising initiatives WGIRLS creates reverberating change in the lives and communities it serves.

WGIRLS LA is seeking an organized, self-starting financial and/or accounting professional to join our board as treasurer.

The Treasurer:

• Is Responsible for budgeting the income and expenses for the chapter
• Accountable for depositing the income from fundraisers, donors, membership dues and sponsors
• Manages and balances the bank accounts and makes required payments for bills and invoices
• Develops and manages the annual chapter budget (works jointly with the President)
• Develops and manages individual fundraiser budgets (in conjunction with the President/board)
• Reports monthly financial operations metrics
• Manages all financial operations and cash flow at WGIRLS fundraisers/events
• Completes the financial reporting summaries for the national chapter
• Tracks annual dues for all members and sends out renewal reminders
• Participates in national chair calls hosted by WGIRLS Inc.
• Can maintain on average 2-5 hours a week to chapter responsibilities
