Assist our lead shelter staff in providing a friendly and warm atmosphere for clients in our communal space. This includes engaging clients and their children in conversations and providing a listening ear, organizing a healthy snack for the children as they return from school and general tasks that help make the shelter home. This is a great opportunity for volunteers that enjoy interacting with people.
