WGIRLS LA is seeking a Director of Membership to help drive recruitment and retention efforts across our community of professional women committed to making a difference in the lives of women and children in need.

WGIRLS INC is a diverse national network of accomplished professional women who share a desire to strengthen their communities via the support and empowerment of women and children. Through volunteerism and fundraising initiatives WGIRLS creates reverberating change in the lives and communities it serves.

The membership director will:

Set the strategy to help drive recruitment and increase membership retention

Work closely with the board and the national marketing team to help create the right messaging regarding membership

Create programming for prospective new member meetings

Execute programming to help women integrate effectively into the chapter ( Buddy program, etc)

The right person for this role is a solid mix of organizational/operational skills mixed with a positive, outgoing, inclusive spirit. A background in recruiting, sales, organizational psychology, or training and development is a plus!

Board positions require on average 5 hours of work per week.
