At Capital City Hospice we strive to improve the quality of life for all our patients. We are currently seeking Volunteers for Companionship and Pet Therapy in Delaware, Franklin, Fairfield, Knox, Licking, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway and Union Counties!

Can you share your gift of presence, read, chat, play music, offer companionship?

Do you have a licensed Pet Therapy dog?
Pet therapy is also one of the many ways we seek to enhance the quality of patients lives who are experiencing a life limiting illness. With the help of volunteers like you, our patients get a chance to visit with your licensed therapy pet when they are unable to have a pet of their own. It is a beautiful thing, to witness the joy that touching an animals fur and beholding the love in their eyes can bring to a patient!
Companionship and Pet Therapy volunteers both make friendly visits on their own schedules.

Orientation, training, background check, TB Test and drug screen are required and provided!
