Swimming

Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a swim clinic for individuals who are blind and visually impaired at the Washington State School for the Blind. We are looking for volunteers with a background in either life guarding, teaching swimming, or both! We have both adults and children throughout the area that come to these clinics. We are hoping to have a few extra hands to teach some basic skills to the athletes.

Description

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life.
