Brighton State Park is in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom across Island Pond from the village with the same name. The park has a large sandy swimming beach on Island Pond with changing rooms, and a large campground with campsites, lean-to's cabins and a beach on Spectacle Pond. The park has hiking and nature trails and offers interpretive programs. The park is nearby to the Kingdom Heritage Trail and the Silvio O Conte National Wildlife Refuge Visitor's Center.
Duties vary by park, and will be assigned after arrival by the Park Manager, who will supervise the volunteers.

Description
Vermont State Parks was founded in 1924 and provided developed and dispersed recreational experiences in over 55 locations throughout Vermont. We operate campgrounds and beaches, hiking and biking trails, nature centers and school programs, rent boats and provide places for people to run, hike, ski, snowshoe, relax and enjoy nature year-round.
