Elmore State, Park is located in north-central Vermont on the shores of Lake Elmore and encompasses Elmore Mountain. This park offers 60 campsites, an expansive swimming beach, concession stand, picnic area with pavilion, and hiking trails on the mountain to a former fire lookout tower. The park is within 40 minutes of Montpelier, Waterbury and Stowe.

Duties vary by park, and will be assigned after arrival by the Park Manager, who will supervise the volunteers.

Vermont State Parks was founded in 1924 and provided developed and dispersed recreational experiences in over 55 locations throughout Vermont. We operate campgrounds and beaches, hiking and biking trails, nature centers and school programs, rent boats and provide places for people to run, hike, ski, snowshoe, relax and enjoy nature year-round.
