Our non profit supports the elderly and their pets. Many of our elderly clients have a very restricted income and need assistance with the needs of their pet. We match Hospets supporters with the seniors in need, allowing them to Sponsor a senior and their pet by buying specific items requested by the senior. Currently we are tracking all of this with Cognito Forms, spreadsheets and individual social media postings.
We are hoping someone can help us find a way for our supporters to view a listing of the seniors in need. The listing would include a first name, city, zipcode, age of senior and their need. The supporter would select the senior they would like to help. Upon selecting the senior, the supporter would need to give their own name, phone and email and then all of the details for the senior they selected would be emailed to them (this info would include identifying info that was originally hidden in the selection list). Once the senior is selected, they would be removed from the selection list so they are not able to be selected more than once.
The format would need to be user friendly, many of our supporters have limited computer skills and would also need to have some visual appeal as it would be heavily promoted via social media. We used signup genius in the past and liked the look of it but having to manually enter everything was too time consuming and the limited information available for each senior was problematic

Hospets is comprised of 100% volunteers. 100% of all donations go towards providing services and care to help keep seniors and their pets together for as long as possible
Description
Hospets is a unique organization, founded in 2011. We are an all volunteer, non profit, focusing on the bond, health and emotional well-being of both senior citizens and their pets. Often a pet is the only regular form of companionship a senior may have. Hospets strives to provide assistance to help keep the senior citizens and the pets happy, healthy and together as long as possible.
We are located in Marysville, Ohio, serving people 60 years of age or older. Our focus area is central Ohio.
- Transporting pets to grooming and veterinary appointments
- Assistance with pet food, pet medications, and basic veterinary services if owners are facing financial difficulties
- Transporting pets to assisted living facilities for visits (if allowed)
- Emergency respite care for the pets should the owners need to be hospitalized
- Pre-planning placement - Assisting owners with finding a new, loving home for their pets
- Cleaning litter box, walking, general grooming
- 24/7 Emergency/on call pet caregiver until family can take possession of a pet
