ORGANIZATION: Our House of Portland

Currently, we have three major openings we need to fill: Mondays (2 people from 12:30pm-4:15pm), and Tuesdays (1 person from 12pm-4:30pm). Other schedules permitted as availability allows.

Tod's Corner is a program of Our House of Portland. Our House provides integrated health and housing services to people with HIV/AIDS. Guided by compassion, collaboration, and respect. Volunteers engaging in this opportunity are directly serving our mission by ensuring our clients are able to access and locate all the resources we have through community donations.

Volunteers support with the sorting, stocking, managing and the inventory of our shelves and racks. They ensure these spaces are stocked and accommodating to all shapes and sizes. Tod's Client Companions ensure that clients know when to start shopping, the amount of clothing and other goods they can access this visit and support with the inventory of what was provided for our record keeping and community impact.

Volunteer shifts are available in the afternoons on Mondays from 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm, Tuesday from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm and Thursday from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm.

If you have retail experience or a keen eye for detail and organizational flow, you will be enthusiastic to get your hands in the mix! Join us at Tod's Corner to support us in providing our clients with the clothing, household items, emergency blankets, and other basic needs. Tod's Corner features a number of small spaces that offer clothing, winter coats and jackets, dishes ad household goods, linens, baby clothing and goods, and general household items.
