The Safe Shift Estate Sale/Resale Store needs people to help during the 3 day sale each month as customer floor assistance.
During the rest of the month on varying days and as needed, Safe Shift needs help with:
a. inventory stock setup in the store
b. people to help with picking up and offloading donations
c. furniture assembly and light repair
An assistant is needed to help evaluate estates that are offered as donations and to help with product pricing.
Work is usually between 10-2 Mon-Fri but may change weekly.

Assess and respond to unmet needs of the greater Tucson firefighter community by facilitating access to health and wellness resources, while recognizing Firefighting/EMS heritage and culture.
Description
Safe Shift is a fundraising arm of the Greater Tucson Fire Foundation. The GTFF raises funds for health and wellness programs to support firefighters, first responders and their families in the greater Tucson area. Firefighters and first responders are 10 times more likely to commit suicide or have mental health issues than the normal population. GTFF has the programs to bridge the gap between insurance and the special needs of first responders.
The Safe Shift Estate Sale/Resale Store was created by the GTFF to ensure a continue funding stream for the Health and Wellness programs. The store opens 3 days per month and is located in central Tucson on Grant Rd. Safe Shift operates with 100% volunteer labor. The store has been open for about 3 years and in January 2020 has moved to their new location on Grant Rd. Safe Shift has already raised over $200,000 for the health and wellness programs and sees a steady growth in the future.
