Do you love good food and great company? Are you looking for a meaningful group volunteer event? If so, MANA House is the place for you and your group!
MANA House is a transitional living facility for male veterans experiencing homelessness. We have an opportunity for a group of up to 10 people to prepare and serve brunch on the first Saturdays of the month. This is an ongoing group opportunity and is perfect for church groups, clubs, etc. You and your group will prepare and serve your donated meal to 76 veterans in MANA House. After the meal, we invite you to relax, stay and chat for a while with the veterans you serve, and maybe make a new friend!
Brunch starts at 10am and ends at 11:30am. We ask that you arrive no later than 9:15am in order to set up and prepare your meal. You may also choose to bring in a catered meal. This is a group opportunity. Individual opportunities are available for serving dinner Monday-Friday.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email MANA House Sr. Program Manager, Danelle King at daking@cc-az.org.
