A former social worker in Queens, now retired, is looking for once-a-week assistance in developing her knowledge and skills around computers. Visits would be at her home in Rego Park, Queens. This senior, who lives with her cat, loves dance, theater, art and Classical music. She also practices yoga. In addition to assisting with computer skills, this senior would love to go for short walks in the neighborhood with the visitor when the weather is nice.

Queens Community House (QCH) is a multi-site, multi-service settlement house that serves the diverse neighborhoods of Queens. We serve residents of all ages, races, faiths, and ethnicities while supporting the viability of the borough as a whole.

QCH was formed in 1975 (as Forest Hills Community House) to help heal the wounds of a neighborhood conflict. Over four decades, our reach and breadth have grown; today we offer a broad network of comprehensive services at 25 program sites in 11 different neighborhoods in Queens, allowing us to impact individuals, families, and entire communities.
