COMPASS at PS 157 is an after school program that currently provides 80-90 children in grades k-5th with daily activities to enrich and encourage. The After School Office Assistant will work with the site director to fulfill necessary program procedures in the office.

Purpose of the Position

To support the mission of PS 157 COMPASS which currently provides 80-90 children in grades k-5th with daily activities to enrich and encourage.


Duties and Responsibilities

·
Creating bulletin boards, posters and anchor charts for classrooms

· Organizing office/classroom libraries & student centers

· Inputting attendance

· Help to file curriculum, lesson plans, student files, etc.

· Various printing/copying help.

Time Commitment
1 - 2 days out of the week
10 am - 2 pm (can be adjusted to availability)

Length of Service Required

Availability can be discussed in person.

Skills, Knowledge, and Attitudes

Enjoys decorating and organizing.
Background check and fingerprinting required.
