Want to make a difference? When you volunteer at House of Hope, the effect on you may be as great as the impact you have on our clients in recovery.
House of Hope is a community offering second chance and when you volunteer, our clients know they are not alone. They know you care and appreciate everything you do.
In order to ensure proper placement and a meaningful volunteer experience for our applicants our process will include multiple steps. We ask for your patience and cooperation with this process. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the generosity of volunteers!
Please note: volunteer opportunities that involve direct contact with clients in recovery will require a fingerprinting/background process to be paid for by the volunteer applicant ($65.00 processing fee)
*House of Hope does NOT provide court-mandated community service hours.

House of Hope provides the tools to achieve recovery from addiction and address mental health issues, while transforming lives, families and communities. We provide hope for the future and healing to those in need of a second chance.
Description
For 50 years House of Hope has provided hope and healing to men and women who suffer from substance abuse and/or occurring behavioral health disorders, in both a residential and outpatient setting. Serving over 500 men and women each year, most of our clients are indigent and come to us from homelessness or correctional facilities, frequently for offenses related to their diagnosis. It is our mission to help individuals in South Florida, recovering from addiction and mental illness, return to the community with the skills to allow them to maintain stable employment, develop personal responsibility, build family relationships and develop a support system utilizing 12 step programs.
