VNA California, Visiting Nurse Association, is seeking VOLUNTEERS to provide visitation, comfort, compassion and companionship to hospice patients. When the patient can no longer reach out to others, passionate and caring volunteers arrive to listen, hold a hand, or share a quiet moment. The volunteer offers assistance and visitation in private homes or in nursing facilities.
Our Volunteer Coordinator and other VNA team members will help you feel prepared, confident and appreciated. Our volunteers often state that, "the greatest reward of all is helping someone who can never repay you."
No medical experience necessary. Training is free and very easy and we will work with your schedule.
Volunteering is a "gift" of giving that will remain with you forever. It will be one of the best things you will ever do!
