Share your sewing expertise with immigrant and refugee women who are enthusiastic about learning basic sewing techniques!
IRCO is looking for instructors to teach sewing to immigrant and refugee women who speak little to no English. Sewing experience and the ability to speak any African language is preferred, but not required.
Sewing classes will take place at IRCO's Africa House (709 NE 102nd Avenue, Portland, OR 97220).

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) is a non-profit organization established in 1976 to serve immigrants and refugees in Portland, Oregon. IRCO assists individuals and families successfully navigate their lives from cradle through career. IRCO provides programs and volunteer opportunities in the following areas:
