MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. YWCA Dayton invites you to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. and carry out his legacy by volunteering with us. Please join our mission to eliminate racism and empower women.
Volunteer Activity:
Volunteers are needed to help sort incoming donations and place them in Hope's Closet.
YWCA Dayton receives a generous amount of donations on a daily basis. We accept a variety items such as personal care products, clothing, household goods, baby items, toys, and books. We use these donations for our clients in order to improve and empower their lives.
Shift:
Monday January 20th
1:00pm - 4:00pm
* This opportunity is open to new and current volunteers of all ages and abilities.
