Charlotte House requires volunteers for a variety of needs including:
Direct resident care (these are terminal residents needing direct support like toileting, turning in bed, moving to chairs, as well as just sitting quietly with them, helping them write letters, reading to them, providing them ordered medication or meals, cooking or assisting with eating & drinking)
Household support (assisting with laundry, cleaning, shopping, restocking of supplies)
Fundraising (chairing, supporting, mailing, typing, tracking and creative energy for fundraisers)
Education (to volunteers, family and community)

Charlotte House is a 2 bedroom home, offering end-of-life care in a home like setting at no cost to the resident, the family or the health insurer. 100% volunteer supported.
