Our goal: To support youth in our community to thrive and be successful as they transition into adulthood
Youth between the ages of 9-25 can volunteer! Youth voice is important. As adults, we can make decisions that we think will benefit our young people but in reality, it is young people who know how to reach other young people. Youth opportunities include
- working with other youth in our community
- attending and helping out with events
- building skills for the future
- educational / teaching opportunities with peers
- potential mentoring

Mission Statement
Teller County is an engaged mountain community that empowers and supports its youth through prevention and education to promote healthy, thriving families.
Description
SATURN of Teller County consists of residents trained in the Communities That Care process to effectively prevent youth substance use and other problem behaviors impacting young people in our county. Through this evidence-based approach, we continue to educate our community and work alongside youth to ensure our community members are helping youth in ways that are developmentally appropriate and meet youth where they are at.
