WELCOME DESK ASSISTANT
This position will assist in ensuring guests are supervised at all times and involved in safe and appropriate activities. It requires one to be dependable, people and detail-oriented, adaptable, and independent with a tolerance for high stress situations. It also requires a clear speaking voice with an authoritative tone. Knowledge of computer software and/or receiving desk procedures is a plus. Bi-lingual is helpful. Reports to the Facilities Manager. (Please choose at least one day and time per week in which you can be consistent for at least 3 months.)

Description
Gospel Rescue Mission operates a homeless shelter for men and a shelter for women and women with children. In addition to providing emergency needs to the homeless population, both shelters operate long term residential recovery and education programs. These programs include: drug and alcohol recovery and relapse prevention; academic education; computer literacy; counseling; job readiness; and life skills training. We also provide food boxes, clothing,and household items to needy Tucson residents.
