We take in domesticated animals most in danger of getting put to sleep at the shelter. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, and more. We focus on animals that are underage, seniors, special needs, injured, ill, behavior issues, and just overlooked. Food, medical care, and training is provided; fosters provide a safe and loving home, and take animals to vet appointments and adoption events until adopted.

Mission Statement

Foster Army Animal Rescue strives to rescue the most vulnerable of shelter animals. Our goal is to create a safe haven for homeless pets, focusing on treatable companion animals from local shelters, providing loving foster homes, medical care, and behavioral support until they can be adopted into quality forever homes.

Description

FAAR is a foster-based non-profit in Riverside, CA, and is currently recruiting for multiple volunteer positions. Fosters provide shelter, socialization, medical care, if needed and love while FAAR provides all the training, supplies and support.
Volunteers are also needed to help at our Thrift Store, which is a source of revenue for FAAR.
FAAR values its volunteers and understands that it is only with their efforts we can accomplish our mission.
