We take in domesticated animals most in danger of getting put to sleep at the shelter. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, and more. We focus on animals that are underage, seniors, special needs, injured, ill, behavior issues, and just overlooked. Food, medical care, and training is provided; fosters provide a safe and loving home, and take animals to vet appointments and adoption events until adopted.

Mission Statement

FAAR's mission is rescuing vulnerable at-risk companion animals from animal control facilities and placing them in caring foster homes until they can be placed in permanent homes.
