Looking for motivated volunteers with a passion for event planning! We're planning on hosting a science-themed beer tasting/festival fundraiser in Avalon in Sept/Oct time frame. We need help in the following areas:

-marketing
-vendor relations
-game design and planning
-sponsorship

Marketing: We're looking for people who can help us get the word out. Where is the best place to advertise? What connections do we need to make?

Vendor Relations: We're looking for people to help connect with breweries and food truck vendors to participate in the event. Additionally, we will be holding a silent auction and need to put together items to be raffled.

Game Design and Planning: We are planning to have a main competition event where groups of people enter to participate in some sort of STEM related activity. We need help figuring out what this event will be and how it will be executed.

Sponsorship: We are going to seek sponsorship from local companies and need help putting together a sponsorship package and connecting with local companies.

A little about SYSTEM Coalition: we started 5 years ago in my kitchen in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping k-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 100 volunteers, chapters in 3 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has showed me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!
