Our Hospice service is looking for a few good service persons to help fellow Veterans complete their "end of life" tour of duty.

We believe our Veterans deserve a special ceremony to recognize their service and we need fellow Veterans that would be empathetic to their situation.
Our Hospice program has our staff and a Volunteer Veteran (you) go to the home of facility where the Veteran currently is and present them with a patriotic blanket, pin and a certificate of appreciation.
Often times- this ceremony ends up being a wonderful opportunity to make a friend and listen to old stories. this opportunity is great for the Veteran and Family.

There is a modified orientation/training required to see our patients for this ceremony. If you choose to continue visiting the Vet and would like to reach out to others- a more formal orientation/training will be offered/required.

We encourage this opportunity as it is something that touches everyone involved.
