Cancer Hope Network purchased and moved to its current location in Chester, NJ approximately 20 years ago, and the space has not been painted since. Only 2% of Cancer Hope Network’s overall operating expenses are dedicated to building-related needs, with the vast majority of their funding going toward helping cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors to navigate their cancer journeys. The office painting project is an urgent need and will help the organization continue to put its resources into the services they provide.

What we do:

Cancer Hope Network provides free one-on-one confidential support to all people impacted by cancer. We connect cancer survivor Support Volunteers with clients based on diagnosis, the treatment they are undergoing or considering and, of course, other psychosocial issues they may be facing. Cancer Hope Network’s focus is singular: to connect patients with someone who can relate to their experience and instill hope. In doing so, our goal is to improve mental and physical health outcomes for patients and their families.

What impact will you make in your community?

We are performing a much-needed update in the Cancer Hope Network office space. Our goals are that we would be able to create a warm, comforting environment in which to conduct daily business, meet with clients and support volunteers, host meetings and continuing education events, and interact with the larger community.
