Fundraising Events Coordinator (Multiple Positions Available)

Position Summary

The Arizona Sustainability Alliance is in a growth period and as such is looking to increase our fundraising efforts through events. Fundraising events include, but are not limited to: monthly givebacks, tree plantings, and semi annual celebrations. The purpose of the Fundraising Events Coordinator position is to plan and execute fundraising activities in coordination with AZSA’s Fundraising Events Subcommittee.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Fundraising Events Subcommittee
• Identify fundraising opportunities
• Reach out to businesses to solicit fundraising opportunities
• Plan fundraising events
• Implement fundraising events
• Team with AZSA’s Marketing and Communications department to ensure the promotion of fundraising events

Experience and Skills

• Event planning experience
• Well organized
• Effectively handle multiple tasks
• Able to work with tight deadlines
• Enjoy developing and implementing new initiatives
• Self-starter, able to initiate and complete tasks
• Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Confident public speaker
• Skillful and effective communication with diverse audiences in both oral and written formats

Time commitment: Approximately 5-10 Hours Per Week
