JA Volunteer in Classroom
JA Volunteer inspiring youth to own their economic success

Lead weekly fun, hands-on Junior Achievement (JA) lessons for high school students!

The Junior Achievement Take Stock in Your future curriculum will be taught, focusing on preparing students for financial success in the real world. The concepts in this program are related to the stock market, stocks, investing, managing a portfolio, personal finance, and saving for the future. The in-class program prepares students to compete at the 2020 Stock Market Challenge event on March 19, 2020. Help coach a team of future investors to victory!

Each weekly class visit is approximately 55 minutes on the following dates:
January 27, February 3, and February 24.

This volunteer opportunity has two time slots available:
9:10 - 10:10 am each week
10:20 - 11:20 am each week

As role models, volunteers bring the curriculum to life with real world experiences shared during classroom sessions. JA Staff provide training and all of the curriculum materials, and the teacher remains in the classroom the entire time.

No matter what your profession, your life experience and determination to succeed means that you can serve as a role model. Our volunteers come from diverse occupations, backgrounds and age groups, including business professionals, parents, retirees, and college students. You are welcome to sign-up with a friend or colleague to team teach.
