Thank you for your interest in volunteering! At this event we will remove invasive holly from throughout Lacamas Park. Holly is a non-native plant that competes for space and nutrients to the detriment of native plant communities.
We will meet at the overflow parking lot located off NE 35th Ave. Please see parking map link above.
Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and other weather-appropriate clothing and bring a refillable water bottle. Gloves, tools, water, and snacks will be provided. If you prefer to use your own gloves or tools (hand pruners, loppers, hand-saws) please bring them.
Youth 13 and younger can volunteer with a parent or guardian. Teenagers 14 to 17 years old need to have signed minor consent form to volunteer without a parent or guardian: http://bit.ly/EventConsent
If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Assistant at Dora.Hernandez@clark.wa.gov or 564-397-1679
