Volunteers needed to provide companionship, active listening or simply hand holding for our Rockwall area hospice patients. Volunteers can make such a difference in giving of their time to patients.
Required: Commitment to visiting assigned patient(s) at least 2-4 times per month. You decide how many patients you are willing to take on and the location of those patients.
Training, background check, TB test, and drug screen are required at no cost to the Volunteer. Valid drivers license and auto insurance are also required. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Description
Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
