College and Career Ready, Set, Go - a career readiness program for middle schoolers needs you help. We are seeking professionals to speak with groups of students and students with their parents to share your career experiences. We are looking for folks that can bring some elements of their job with them from equipment used on the job to science, technology - whatever makes your day-to-day interesting and might foster excitement about entering your career field. Times will either be during the school day for half an hour or so or one evening where you will work hands-on with parents and students to help them understand your work and helping them to experience the skills needed for your career. Our students are in Toledo Public, other public and Central City Ministry schools. If you have a passion for your work and want to share it with young people, we would love to have you volunteer with us.
