Are you a licensed hair stylist with a flexible schedule and a heart for helping people?
Do you have a passion for "giving back"
Do you have a valid drivers license, license and current auto insurance?
If you answered yes to these questions, we would love to meet you!
Maxcare Hospice is lucky to have had one of the sweetest volunteers provide hair cuts for MANY patient's over the last 2 years. As with all good things, this is coming to an end. Unfortunately, this volunteer
must sacrifice her hospice volunteer time in order to make time to pursue another career.
What the opportunity might look like for you is this: A couple of days a month, you may drive to 2-3 patient homes and provide a haircut for hospice patient's who can no longer go out to have their hair cut. Patients reside in Orange and Los Angeles counties, but you will cover ONLY the area(s) that you are comfortable with. It's important to note that your mileage is reimbursed.
If you have a flexible schedule and you are interested in volunteering, Please call Jamie Slade, our Volunteer Coordinator, today at 714-930-1053 or email direct at jamie@maxcarehospice.com.
Thank you for considering Maxcare Hospice as a place to volunteer your time. We know you will find this opportunity to be mutually rewarding.
