VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED
Fighting Chance is in need of more volunteer drivers to support their Cancer Patients Ride Free program, which provides cancer patients with free rides to treatment.
Donate your time to help cancer patients get to and from their medical appointments on the East End of Long Island. Schedule is flexible.
All drivers need:
- a current & valid driver's license
- a good driving record
- proof of adequate car insurance
- access to a safe & reliable vehicle
Fighting Chance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of care for cancer patients on the Eastern End of Long Island. We have been operating a free-of-charge counseling and resource center in Sag Harbor, New York since 2002. This year we have added a second location at the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Phillips Cancer Center.

Description
Fighting Chance is funded solely by charitable contributions, providing patients and their caregivers a better chance - a fighting chance -
to beat cancer by helping them to take informed action. Free access to hard-to-find resources and professional counseling is available from the time of diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.
