Our Mission: Inspiring wonder, curiosity, and lifelong learning in our children and community through interactive play and discovery. We achieve this through the overlapping lenses of literacy, the arts, and STEM.
Kaleideum was created from the July 2016 merger of the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and SciWorks, the Science Center and Environmental Park of Forsyth County. Currently, the museum operates two locations - Kaleideum Downtown (formerly The Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem) and Kaleideum North (formerly SciWorks). As a merged entity, we spark the imagination and ignite the intellectual curiosity of our visitors by developing exhibits and programming that fuse STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), literacy, and the arts into an integrated approach to learning. .
We'll work with your schedule.
